Salt will not be added at the pool opening but rather Chlorine and start-up chemicals until pool water chemistry is completely clear of algae, bacteria and balanced. The best temperature to run a salt water chlorinator for most brands is above 60 degrees Fahrenheit (around 15.6 degrees Celsius). We adhere to this.
