Welcome to Rave Pools! We are committed to providing you with exceptional pool and spa care. Please read these terms and conditions before engaging our services. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Services Provided:
We offer a range of pool and spa care, including (but not limited to):
- Regular Maintenance: This typically includes weekly visits for skimming, vacuuming, brushing, water chemistry balancing, filter cleaning, and equipment inspection. Specific services included in your chosen maintenance package will be detailed in your service agreement.
- Pool Opening and Closing: Seasonal services to prepare your pool for summer and winter.
- Equipment Repair and Installation: Repair or replacement of pumps, filters, heaters, and other pool equipment.
- One-Time Cleaning or Service Calls: For specific issues or requests outside of regular maintenance.
- Winter Maintenance:
Care for your pool or pool and spa during the winter months.
- Special Projects & Renovations
A detailed description of the services you have selected will be provided in your individual service agreement or proposal.
2. Service Agreement:
A written service agreement outlining the specific services, frequency, pricing, and payment terms will be provided to you before services begin. This agreement must be signed by you prior to receiving services.
3. Pricing and Payment:
- Payment is due according to the terms outlined in your service agreement. We accept cash, check, and all major credit cards.
- Payment is due upon receipt.
- Late payments may be subject to a late fee of $10.00 per calendar month. The first late payment will be applied on the 1st of the month following the date of service. Each additional late fee will be applied on the 1st of each month thereafter.
- An Administrative Fee of 3% will be added to all payments taken by staff over the phone.
- Prices are subject to change with written notice.
4. Access to Pool Area:
You are responsible for providing us with unobstructed access to your pool area during scheduled service visits. This includes ensuring gates are unlocked and pets are secured. Failure to provide unobstructed access may result in a missed service visit and a possible service charge for us to return.
5. Water Chemistry:
We strive to maintain proper water chemistry in your pool. However, certain factors outside our control, such as weather conditions, bather load, and the addition of other chemicals (including chemicals used for lawn care), can affect water balance. We are not responsible for issues arising from these factors. Chemicals used to balance your pool/pool & spa water are not included and will be invoiced separately.
6. Equipment and Repairs:
- We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions or failures of pool equipment.
- We will inform you of any necessary repairs or replacements and provide you with a written estimate for the cost of the work when the cost exceeds $150.00. If the cost is below $150.00, the repair will be made and invoiced to you for payment and/or charged to the card stored on on our secure server.
- We are not liable for damage to equipment caused by factors outside our control, such as power surges, weather related conditions, or misuse.
7. Liability:
- We are fully insured, as required by the State of Connecticut.
- We are not liable for any accidents or injuries that occur in or around your pool.
8. Cancellations & Refunds:
- Pool/Pool & Spa Package (packages contain weekly maintenance) cancellations must be received in writing. Packages are non-refundable once service has begun.
- Cancellation of A la Carte Services (single services) or Pool/Pool & Spa Openings & Pool/Spa Closings must be received in writing no less than 48 business hours before the date you are scheduled in order to be eligible for a refund.
- Equipment and parts are non-refundable after installation has been completed.
- We reserve the right to cancel your service agreement or suspend your service for non-payment, unsafe conditions, or other reasonable causes. Services will not resume until your account is in good standing or other causes have been satisfactorily resolved.
- Refer to your specific service agreement for further details regarding our cancellation and refund policy.
9. Force Majeure:
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our services due to events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, severe weather, or other unforeseen circumstances.
10. Governing Law:
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State
of Connecticut.
11. Changes to Terms and Conditions:
We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. You will be notified of any changes in writing.
